The Dream of the Red Chamber is an opera film based on one of China's most famous classical novels. It is a tragic story about a powerful family with a pair of young men and women who come to love each other but cannot live together. It reveals the cruelty and ruthlessness of Chinese traditional morality. In the movie The Dream of the Red Chamber, my task was film editing. My job was first to respect the theme of the film, from tens of thousands of footage clips, with my personal understanding. Second, it was to edit the film's core plots and characters' emotions and organically decompose, connect, and combine the best ones to form a whole expression.

The film The Southern Storm tells the story of a few soldiers who violate the military discipline to secretly rescue a poor and sick old lady in a sudden severe snowstorm in the south. Although it is humane, the lead soldier pays with the price of his life. I worked as an assistant director on the film The Southern Storm to assist the director in his work. I participated in script discussions with the director and actors during the preparation period to enable people to understand the story and the characters in the film. During the shooting, I helped the director implement the shooting plan with the Departments of Fine Arts and Photography, issued the instructions given by the director, and supervised the completion of the project. In the post-production process, I assisted the director to complete the final editing and synthesis of the film.

The movie A Bowl of Noodle tells the story of a widow with two minor sons who make concerted efforts with an optimistic attitude towards life, work hard, pay off debts, overcome difficulties, and grow up. In the short play A Bowl of Noodle, I acted as a scriptwriter and wrote the script independently. From selecting the theme to designing the whole story and then presenting it in the language of the camera with words, the script provides the director, actors, and other departments with the basic shooting text and allows all collaborators to outline the future film with the imagination brought by the text reading. It is the text design of the movie.
